Bluestar HR ran a mixture of PC’s with varying operating systems all connected to a network attached storage device. Remote working was almost impossible and document sharing was difficult. Reliability of software applications was poor and overall their systems needed some much need TLC.
We pride ourselves on giving customers the right advice and not what we need to say to win business. From the start we laid out a plan to move to Office 365 for the delivery of emails and version parity of Microsoft Office. We also discussed cloud storage via Microsoft SharePoint online. Once this was all in place the ongoing support of their systems would become easy to manage. Our remote monitoring agent would allow us to view problems on their machines typically before the customer knows there is a problem. The other advantage of this approach is that upfront costs have been very small compared to other solutions offered via other service providers.
Bluestar HR adopted our solution. We successfully migrated all emails and services to Office 365. The migration of data from the network attached storage device to SharePoint online did not go too smoothly so we switched to a professional DropBox service which further enhanced BlueStar HR’s sharing and collaboration abilities.
All in all the move to Office 365 has been easy and hassle free.
