We’ve known the owners of Riley & Riley for some time and they contacted us to look at exploring and redeveloping their online offering. Jewellery is a very personal product and we needed something simple to use but tapped into the connection people have with jewellery.
After an initial few meetings the client decided on how they wanted us to deliver this. Then, we set about working on products, categories and how to develop an e-Commerce offering to suit.
As a result, from a near standing start we have produced a website which will develop into another revenue stream for the business.

Riley & Riley with WordPress
Before
Riley & Riley are we well established business, expert jewellers in Ipswich and Aldeburgh. With experienced staff and a wide range of stock they wanted a way to increase footfall into the stores but also to develop and online offering.
Their previous website was a long established locally built platform. one which we know of and it had served them well enough to get them to where they are.
We felt WordPress was more suited to their needs, in search terms but also in how it integrates with marketing also. Then, after checking further into the industry we felt we had enough of an understanding of their wishes to begin work.
During
This website has a large product range to content with. Also, it will grow and change and be managed by the client and their own staff.
As a result, this means we needed to make the site in such a manner that it can be ran on a day to day basis by people not used to working with the technology. To do this we provided on site training and guidance. Also, with instruction information for when we are not there.
A wealth of images and content is to be added to the site, as a result the hosting needs to be able to handle a image rich e-Commerce site.
After
The site went live and is taking sales, new products are being added and new content being created.
Regular marketing meetings take place about new products, new events and up and alterations to ranges. This in time will only serve to enhance on our original work. It’s also the best way to be sure to get e-Commerce to work.
As part of our ongoing work we have produced images, graphics and embarked on some paid for adverting in addition to SEO work on this website to increase it’s reach.
